Communications Consent

This Communications Consent and TCPA Disclosure explains how we — and the service providers in our network — may contact you in connection with a service request you submit through My Home Companion.

By Submitting a Service Request

When you submit a service request through My Home Companion (including by completing the form on our "Get Started" page or any similar request form on our site), you expressly authorize My Home Companion and one or more service providers in our network to contact you about your request using the contact information you provided, including by:

• Telephone calls — including calls placed using automated technology, prerecorded messages, or artificial voice messages — to the phone number(s) you provided;
• SMS or text messages — including messages sent using automated technology — to any mobile or wireless phone number(s) you provided. Message and data rates may apply;
• Email — to the email address you provided.

You understand that:

• Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can contact service providers directly through other means without submitting our form.
• Calls and texts may be made to a wireless number, even if that number is on a federal or state Do Not Call list. By submitting the form, you authorize this contact.
• You may receive contact from a service provider even if a significant amount of time has passed since you submitted your request.

What You Can Expect

After submitting a request, you may receive contact from one or more service providers in our network who are able to help with your project. These providers typically contact you within a few business days to follow up about your request.

How to Stop Receiving Communications

You can stop receiving communications at any time by:

• Phone calls: Asking the caller to remove you from their contact list. They are required to honor that request.
• Text messages: Replying STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• Email: Following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive.

Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)

Federal law (the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, or TCPA) regulates automated calls and texts. Your express written consent — provided by submitting our request form with the consent checkbox affirmatively checked — satisfies the TCPA's prior express written consent requirement.

I understand that providing my consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Recordkeeping

We retain records of consents provided through our forms, including timestamp, IP address, and the specific consent language displayed at the time of submission. This recordkeeping supports compliance with applicable laws.

State-Specific Disclosures

Some states have additional requirements regarding telemarketing communications. If you are a resident of California, Florida, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or any state with specific telephonic communication rules, additional consumer protections may apply.
